Tiiu Piibur Näitus "Maan Kultaa"

Näitus "Maan Kultaa"

ART Galleria Theodor, Loviisa Soome
14-27.10.2024

It is a traveling exhibition.

The exhibition is presented in a minimalist form, as if in mourning, bringing our wonderful colorful forest plants both on canvas and design on clothes. By painting the plant directly on the artist's palette, I raise it in a special light, the glory of the colors comes from interacting with the plant and also drinking it.

I have also written a very brief introduction on how to use this plant.

The exhibition "Estonian Gold" took place for the first time in Estonia in the framework of EV 100. 2018, in Tallinn  Kultuurikatel, in cooperation with clothing designer Eva Pajus, instagram @sheseva.design

Moving on to London UK.

Tiiu Piibur; “Please take the time to notice what is around us and what is happening within us to awaken the primal power within each of us. We are all connected to each other, the earth and the plants we move through are also a part of us".

I have made many exhibitions on these topics concerning our nature and the earth, and I will continue to use different approaches to awaken this primal power in myself and in the observer, the listener.

I focus on small forms that bring us even closer to the ground. In harmony with mushroom species and plants, a wonderful healthy community is born, the earth that gives and carries us.

Two exhibitions are represented here. The second is "Magic Plants" which is renewed every year. I paint the plant, at the culmination of its flowering and ripening at that very moment. I started painting this exhibition in 2015 and during the year I paint 3-4 paintings directly on the palette. Capturing a presence and a unique moment on canvas.

"The ecosystem is balanced, we have a lot to learn from how different forms can work together. This in peace and balance". Let's be like plants :)

Here, I would like to value the little heroes of our forests, without whom other plant forms could not survive. Maintaining diversity is the key we can pass on to our children. Old fallen trees are often removed from the forests, what remains are park forests, where ancient forms soon take over only in fairy tales and often in horror movies, in which I always feel sorry that the forest scares this person from an early age.

This is where our gold comes from, - our Earth. In this natural chain, everything is recycled.

"I believe in the existence of wild linguistics.
Thank you all for thinking along.
